Suitcase Going Away Cake
A week and a half ago one of my best friends packed up and moved from DC out to Portland, OR to begin her studies at Oregon Health and Science University. We all threw her a party to properly send her off and I made the cake. It was chocolate chiffon with chocolate mousse filling and chocolate fondant decorations. The “stickers” on the suitcase were, of course, items of personal meaning to my friend. We’ll miss you, Dana!
